What we do

Passive House Architecture

We are a specialist architecture studio with local and international Passive House experience.

We have worked across a range of project types, from one-off residential dwellings to education, community and social housing projects, new builds and high performance retrofits.

Full architectural services

We provide full architectural services from pre-design to completion. Our experience covers different scales, levels of complexity, and particular client requirements. We embrace any challenge and have a proven track record of delivering high-performance projects when working under difficult constraints.

For projects targeting Passive House, Low energy Building, or EnerPHit certification. We can guide you through the requirements of this process.

Consultancy

In addition to our Passive House skill set, we also have experience in delivering the following service as and when required for our projects:

Air permeability testing

  • Using a blower door for onsite confirmation of air permeability rates
  • Critical for certified projects and strongly recommended for all other projects

Interstitial condensation assessments

  • Modelling and managing moisture within the thermal envelope
  • Critical for all projects

Designing for prefabrication

  • An increasing number of projects are fabricated off site in part or complete
  • There is a strong relationship between off site manufacturing and building quality and performance
