The inaugural South Pacific Passive House Conference was recently held in Auckland. The event was a great success and I'm still recovering from a whirlwind of international speakers, gala diners and meeting an impressive number of NZ based Passive House enthusiasts.
In amongst all the technical talks and project case studies, this video was shown to the attendees by Glenn from Vicus Design Group. I lived in Germany as an exchange student and worked in Europe for several years, so I can really relate to the content. It's a nice little summary of our housing situation in NZ.
The message from the conference was that there is no technical or economic reason we can't build healthy, energy efficient housing in New Zealand. In which case, is attitude our only issue?
